Mr Beard - Missing person from August 2009 found dead in the Loggerheads locality.

It is very sad to report that the missing person from home - Mr Beard from August last year was found dead in a location off a pathway near the soccer area in The Burntwood, Loggerheads. It appears that he had been in that position for a considerable time. Our local Police Inspector would wish to thank all of you who have given assistance to your police and volunteers in an effort to trace the deceased. Our thoughts go out to his family who will in time announce the funeral details.

Attempted burglary at hotel premises in Loggerheads

At 8.15pm on Thursday 4th February two men were disturbed attempting to break into a hotel in Eccleshall Road Loggerheads. Both climbed onto a flat roof from where they tried to force a bedroom window but were disturbed by members of staff. Both made off empty handed. They were described as two white males in their 20's both 6ft tall and wearing black hoodies. Please make your neighbours aware of this attempted burglary. Remind them to be extra vigilant and security conscious and to report any suspicious person or incident to the police immediately.
