SCAM - "Cannon" who claim to be supporting our local schools

A local resident writes "I recently had another phone call from "Cannon" who claim to be supporting our local schools by providing books and seemed to think I had donated in the past. I know people who have been "had" by this scam. It has been around for a while and obviously hasnt gone away despite the police being involved. Perhaps you could make your readers aware it still up and running."
