Daytime break, Loggerheads, offenders disturbed.

Dear Watch Member,

Just before midday in Meynellfield, Loggerheads the occupier of a house disturbed 2 young men about to break into her house. They saw her, covered their faces and ran off on foot. The IP had firstly heard her letter box being disturbed and then saw the offenders at the rear patio doors utilising her shovel from the garden to attempt to lift the doors off the fitting. Any sightings or information please inform your local officers. Incident number 0255

ATM Machine attacked and an attempted burglary in Loggerheads

Dear Watch Member,

BK 52 0053

At 2am on Friday, 16th, October, a burglary was committed at the late shop in Loggerheads. The ATM machine was attacked using a mini-digger to dig the machine out of the wall. Cash drawers were removed from the machine. Five offenders were involved who made off in two vehicles. One a white flat bed pick up the other a silver coloured saloon car. Both drove off in the direction of Eccleshall. The C.I.D at Newcastle would welcome any information in relation to this burglary. Callers should quote incident number 53 of 16th October or for complete anonymity ring crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Finally at about 11.45am on Thursday, 15th, October, an attempted burglary was committed at a dwelling in Meynellfield, Loggerheads. Entry was attempted by trying to lift a sliding patio door out of its track using a spade. The occupier was alerted who described two young lads both wearing black baseball caps, grey long sleeve tops and black gloves running away. Please make your neighbours aware of this burglary. Remind them to be extra vigilant and security conscious and to report any suspicious person or incident to the police immediately.

Local Services - The setting up of a list of local individual's or businesses

Many thanks to all of you who responded to the request for a person to repair a dish washer.

This set me thinking (very dangerous !!)

I want to set up a list of all local individuals/businesses, that provide local services.

These could cover TV repair, Gardening, Painting and Decorating, Handy Man, Plumbing, Electrician, Builder/brick layer etc., etc.

If you have used any of these, and others, please let me (Eric ) know at info@loggerheads.eu
