| The Community First
Responders need YOU Could you provide emergency help to your neighbours and others around you? Do you have a few hours to spare each week, particularly in the day time? If so come and talk to us about joining our group. The Loggerheads and Ashley Community First Responders are a group of 20 volunteers who provide emergency help until the ambulance crews arrive after a 999 call. Trust are seeking a Play Worker £9.00 / hour Fixed Term Contract July to December 2009 (renewable on an annual basis)
The successful applicant will work alongside our Wild Play team to deliver activities across North Staffordshire. Our Wild Play sessions give young people an opportunity to participate in adventurous and nature based activities. Sessions are delivered at a range of sites across Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Moorlands. You should have experience of delivering play and/or working with children, some knowledge of environmental issues and an appreciation of health and safety issues involved in this work. After the Hills exhibition last month we will be having another Art show. Wellbank Farm, Pickstock, Newport, Shropshire, TF10 8AH - The telephone number there is 01952 550303 It will happen next weekend, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th. My friend Joanna has a lavender farm in Pickstock, close to Newport….She as well promotes a medieval fayre there every year. This year it will be on 25 and 26 July.
