Connexions Staffordshire... helping adults get set for learning, work and life

May 2009

Hello again and welcome to the May issue of Get Set, our E-newsletter designed to keep you up-to-date with the work we're doing to support adults across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.

Did you know that Connexions can work with your organisation or group to support your clients or members to move on in life? We know how hard things are in the current economic climate, including the continuing job losses and the problems many people are facing, but we can support your clients and members with lots of different issues. These include: help with finding and applying for jobs, advice on learning new skills, information on retraining, advice on changing career, support to help people increase their confidence and lots more.

Joint Team Community Link Project meeting on Thursday the 21st of May at the Oddfelows Hall in Ashley from 7.30pm - all welcome

The meeting is to allow all to update on how current projects are working and for me as the coordinator to look at what has been achieved and to gain support and ideas for what we want to do in the future.

Why not come along to both find out more and see how you can become involved?
