Neighbourgh Hood Watch

Yesterday lunchtime (18 May) a white van with three male occupants thought to be of the travelling community called on 2 farm premises in the general Whitmore area.At one in Dab Green on realising that someone was in the house they drove off. That occupant then called a neighbouring farm and learnt that they had visited the land there and when challenged had been in a threatening mood before driving off towards the general direction of Whitmore Heath.Whilst no offences took place your local officers and those at kidsgrove are anxious for more information on these men and vehicle. The three men are white and around 30 years of age and the vehicles registration number is P422NNC or thereabouts and is a transit type van.The 442 part of the registration may be slightly different. Please be aware of this and similar type vans in your area especially in the more remote locations who are either touting for work or on the lookout for items to steal.
