Market Drayton Choral Society will be performing Beethoven's Mass in C - Rehearsals begin on Wednesday 9 September

Please can you do an item for Market Drayton Choral Society in the next Community Information? The Choral Society will be performing Beethoven's Mass in C on Saturday 28 November with professional soloists and orchestra. Rehearsals begin on Wednesday 9 September at Market Drayton Junior School Alexandra Road at 7.45 p.m. New members of all voices are always very welcome. Special sub of £5 for under 25s. You do not need to have a wonderful voice or to have sung in a choir before, but just an ability to sing in tune and the enthusiasm to attend rehearsals regularly. Overnight Tuesday/Wednesday a basically green coloured John Deer model tractor,with yellow wheels registered 04 value £30,000 was stolen from farm premises off the A51 at Blackbrook. Due to the nature and value of the item an all ports warning was initiated.In the recent past there has been various reports of farm implements being taken from both within and near our area. Please be aware of these offenders in our midst and report any suspicious activity to your local officers.
