| Loggerheads Football
Club is 50 years old this year and to celebrate we are holding a ‘Charity
Fun Day’ in Loggerheads this Saturday, June 20th. In the afternoon a Loggerheads Veterans XI will play Loggerheads FC on The Burntwood at 3.0pm. There will also be football competitions for adults and kids around the pitch from 2.0pm onwards. Denis Smith, the Stoke City legend, will be there and it is hoped one or two other famous names may also attend. In the evening at The Loggerheads Hotel we will have our annual presentation night followed by an auction of football memorabilia plus a BBQ and live music provided by ‘The Way’, a local Stoke on Trent band. All are welcome particularly if you have had any connection with the club over the years. It will be a great opportunity to renew old acquaintances. Admission to the match and social evening is free but there will be a
collection and raffle and all money raised will donated to The Donna Louise
Hospice Trust. |
