It is easy to unsubscribe but it must be done before the beginning of next week to make sure that you are ex directory. Saturday 1st august 2009 we plan to hold a charity pub quiz in aid of pinewood Pre-school who are a local registered charity. It will take place at the loggerheads pub and will start at 9pm. There is an are you smarter than a 10 year old round a chocolate round general knowlage and entertainment round. Cost is £1 per person no more than 6 per team. The more who come the large the cash prize will be. Hopefully having a raffle to. Will be a brilliant night. If anyone requires more info they can ring me Sarah on 07595824235
Youth Music’s Open Programme is now open for ONLINE applications! Youth Music’s Open Programme provides grants of between £5,000 and £30,000. It aims to increase the number of children and young people with access to high quality, sustainable music making activities across England. We are keen to fund projects which clearly progress the musical skills of children and young people and/or provide them with pathways for further progression. We are also interested in projects which are particularly distinctive or innovative in their approach. Our Open Programme targets nearly £2m of Youth Music’s funding towards projects that support our goals of: Early Years – advancing the learning and development of all children in their early years (0-5) by aiming to ensure universal access to high quality music making in England Challenging Circumstances – improving the life chances of children and young people in the most challenging circumstances by supporting them to achieve their full potential through engagement and progression in music making Encouraging Talent and Potential – realising the musical talent and potential of children and young people by ensuring opportunity for all to develop their talent regardless of background or chosen genre Workforce Development – enabling the highest quality music making by developing a diverse, highly skilled and inspirational workforce If you would like to know more about the programme or to take a look at our marvellous new online application form, please take a look at the Open Programme page on our website: http://www.youthmusic.org.uk/looking_for_music_funding/Open_programme.html You are welcome to create a login and play with the form, but we pay for every form we receive so please don’t submit! Cream Tea - Ashley Garden Guild - Sat 15 August Ashley Garden Guild are raising funds with a Cream Tea at 32 Mucklestone Road, Loggerheads on Sat 15 August from 2 to 5pm. Admission £3 including cream tea. Also stalls, cakes etc.
