SCAMS SCAM 1 - High Risk Wednesday 25 November 2009 Problem: Householders are receiving phone calls allegedly from their local council. They are being advised that they are in credit on their council tax and they are being asked for their bank details so that their account can be credited. Possible Action: This is a scam. Do not disclose your bank details over
the phone. SCAM 2 - Credit Card SCAM This one is pretty slick since they provide YOU with all the information, except the one piece they want. Note, the callers do not ask for your card number; they already have it. This information is worth reading. By understanding how the VISA & MasterCard Telephone Credit Card Scam works, you'll be better prepared to protect yourself. This is NOT new, BUT is confirmed at http://www.snopes.com/crime/warnings/creditcard.asp |

Arriva "New" Bus Time Table Route 64,164 Shrewsbury –
Market Drayton – Hanley bus service revised Buses running between Shrewsbury and Market Drayton will continue to display service 64, whilst connecting journeys running between Market Drayton – Newcastle –u- Lyme and Hanley will service 164. Both service 64 and 164 continue to run up to every 60 minutes
daytime Monday to Saturday, there’s a Sunday service too. Through
fares will continue to be available for customers travelling across Market
Drayton. Keith Myatt communications manager of Arriva Midlands said: “Although customers will need to ensure they look for either service 64 or 164 depending on where they board the bus, seamless travel is still possible as journeys connect at Market Drayton allowing customers travelling across Market Drayton to stay on the same bus as usual. This minor change will ensure Arriva Midlands continues to provide a regular, reliable and robust service expect and deserve. |
