Date of next meeting to discuss 4th July Country Market/Exhibition Event in Market Drayton is confirmed as 23rd June 5.30 pm at Festival Drayton Centre. I will send out notes of last soon. This Sunday 7th June is Open Farm Sunday - both Fordhall Farm and Park Hill Farm have special events on (including food importantly!) please see their websites for full details - live music, pond dipping, etc etc. They are both registered as BBC Breathing Places. We are so fortunate to have these lovely places to visit all within 10 miles of Market Drayton as well as the excellent farm shops at Buttercross Farm and Hungersheath Farm (asparagus) too, . The strawberries are ripening fast at Bearstone Fruit Farm, watch out for the signs when ready to pick. Sunday pm is also the long-established popular Open Afternoon 2 - 6 pm Tyrley Castle - wonderful teas, gardens, horses and heated outdoor pool to use - in aid of charity. Our Free Rural Activities have been a huge success so far this year. 20th June Fishing with Peter Dykes is the next opportunity - consent forms from Shropshire Customer First.
